Yellow River

We went to our favorite park which has been closed down after the record flooding. The grass in the meadow was still covered with sand. The big surprise was that the river has changed courses. Rocks that were usually exposed, which we climbed, are now covered with water.

Our normal dirt path was covered so Wolfgang had to carry the wagon for just a little bit.

Look at the colors! Even late in the fall this park has little nooks of color. Sigh. I wish we had known sooner that it has been open for weeks.
